Avian influenza was discovered at a broiler farm (27,800 broilers) in Norin, east Bohemia. Norin is located four kilometres from Tisova where the first Czech case of the H5N1 strain of avian influenza was revealed at a turkey farm last week.
Meanwhile other tests confirm the presence of the avian influenza virus in a swan in that died in Lednice, south Moravia.
