Twycross Zoo, in Warwickshire, has been forced into a temporary closure following guidance from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs. Twycross Zoo is located near Norton Juxta Twycross, Leicestershire.
The closure could be in place until January 6. The rest of the zoo remains open to visitors, but the closure was put in place after the first case of Avian Influenza (H5N8) in the UK was confirmed earlier this month.
