The Jordan government has suspended imports of poultry from Israel after several outbreaks of Newcastle disease.
The Jordanians has recently suspended the import of poultry from Israel in light of outbreaks of velogenic Newcastle Disease Virus in the country.
According to Minister of Agriculture, the move came in response to reports released by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) claiming that NDV has been found in several areas of Israel.
Jordan only imports small amounts of poultry from Israel (Port2Port).
