Michigan poultry farm issues recall of eggs because of Salmonella

LaBar Poultry Farm, of Manistique, has issued a recall of eggs because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella Enteriditis. The eggs were distributed to restaurants, grocery stores and directly to consumers in Alger, Delta, Dickinson, Luce, Mackinac, Marquette, Menominee and Schoolcraft counties.
Salmonella enteritidis was detected on the LaBar farm during environmental sampling as part of a foodborne illness outbreak investigation.
