Intussusception in 13 weeks old broiler breeder pullets. Coccidiosis (E. necatrix) was a predisposing factors in this case. The intussusceptions occurred in the ileocaecal junction. In some cases the intestine protrude at the vent (Prolapsed colon). Intussusception affected more females than males. The cases were observed 3 to 7 days after coccidiosis was first observed. There is a complete obstruction with necrotized intestine.
