The results for Campylobacter in fresh poultry meat at major UK retailers, for the 3rd Quarter of 2021 (July to September), are as follows:
Morrison: 1.79% of the chickens have the higher levels of contamination compared to the FSA retail target of 7% from a sample of 112 chickens tested.
Aldi: 6.9% of birds were in the >1,000 cfu/g category.
Co-op: 0.9% of our chickens sampled had contamination at levels greater than 1,000 cfu/g.
