The National Veterinary Services Laboratory (NVSL) in Ames, Iowa has confirmed the presence of strain H2N2 in the commercial layer flock in Mount Joy, Lancaster County.
As a precaution, surveillance activities have been increased within five miles of the poultry facility under quarantine.
