Foie gras
The city council of Chicago has overturned a ban on foie gras, less than two years after it was imposed.
The aldermen voted 37-6 to drop the ban on restaurants serving foie gras, an ordinance that had passed with a single dissenting vote in April 2006.
Foie gras is made from the livers of force-fed ducks and geese.
