The old-fashioned chicken roast continues to top Kiwis' favourite dinners list, according to a recent survey.
Market research company Colmar Brunton, asked 1017 Kiwis what they were having for dinner, who cooked and planned the meal, and what their attitudes towards the meal were, among other things.
The survey found New Zealanders continued to favour a chicken roast followed by chicken and vegies, steak and vegies and chicken curries.
Number five on the list was non-takeaway pizza, spaghetti bolognese was sixth, lasagne seventh, and fish and vege was eighth.
