French animal health company Ceva Sante Animale acquired a pair of Canadian companies.
Ceva acquired veterinary product manufacturer and distributor CentaurVA Animal Health and poultry vaccine manufacturer Vetech Laboratories, both of Guelph, Ontario.
Vetech produces live coccidiosis vaccines for poultry under the trade name Immucox. Production of Immucox will remain primarily in Canada, but Ceva will improve the vaccine through the company’s technology and expertise in the field of poultry health.
