Indonesia Two more human avian influenza cases

The World Health Organization has confirmed two more human avian influenza deaths in Indonesia, bringing the country's total death toll from the virus to seven, a hospital spokesman said.
The first newly confirmed case was a 16-year-old girl from Jakarta. She developed symptoms on 4 November, was hospitalized on 6 November, and died on 8 November.
The second case was a 20-year-old woman from Jakarta. She developed symptoms on 5 November, was hospitalized on 9 November, and died on 12 November.
'We received confirmation from the World Health Organization (WHO) last night that two more deaths have been confirmed as due to avian influenza,' Ilham Patu, spokesman for the Sulianti Saroso Hospital in Jakarta.
