In 2009, Newcastle disease occurred in 15 province (autonomous regions), i.e. Heilongjiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Xinjiang, with 302,202 bird case, 139,786 died and 35,367 culled.
In 2009, no Newcastle disease case was reported in the other 16 provinces except the above-mentioned 15 provinces.
