Avian influenza has been detected on a poultry farm at Zoeterwoude, where some 28,000 laying hens are affected. The birds are infected with the H5 strain, it’s not yet known the full classification.. Most probably it will be a H5N8 HPAI strain. All birds will be destroyed.
