Authorities in the Czech Republic have reported cases of the HPAI southeast of the country.
The virus had been detected in dead swans in Moravia and in family farms in Moravsky Krumlov and Ivancice.
This is the first case of avian influenza in the country this year.
Infected premises in Ivancice and Moravsky Krumlov were quarantined. Czech authorities ordered a cull of thousands of chickens and ducks around these outbreaks.
The last major avian influenza outbreak was reported in the country in 2007.
