A 27-year-old man from Vietnam's northern Ninh Binh province died from avian influenza Friday morning.
It is the third human death from avian influenza since start of 2008.

The ministry also announced a seven-year-old child in northern Hai Duong Province has tested positive for H5N1 and is now under treatment at the Central Pediatric Hospital in Hanoi.
