China culled 377,000 poultry in eastern Jiangsu province after finding the H5N1 strain of the avian influenza virus in chickens in the area.
The H5N1 virus was discovered on a chicken farm in Dongtai city and in another farm in Haian county both in eastern Jiangsu province.
