The South African veterinary authorities have reported two new outbreaks of H5N2 highly pathogenic avian influenza at commercial ostrich farms located in Hessequa - Western Cape Province.
Commercial ostrich farms. Initially no clinical signs or mortalities were seen.
Stamping out of ostriches on positive farms is taking place.
