A total of 7 outbreaks of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza were reported in five governorates in Egypt.
Cairo; Giza; Menia; Quena; Qualiubia; Behera; Dakahlia.
The cases were diagnosed by Animal Health Research Institute (national laboratory) and confirmed by NAMRU-3 as H5N1.
