A new avian influenza H5N1 outbreak was identified in turkey coops (20,000 turkeys) in Kibbutz Kerem Shalom on Friday.
Culling of the infected poultry was to begin later in the day.
Kerem Shalom is located near Kibbutz Holit, one of the first kibbutzim in which the lethal avian influenza strain was positively identified two weeks ago.
