Jordan: Avian Influenza H5N1 confirmed

At least three dead turkeys at a domestic farm in Kofranja - Ajloun governorate, had tested positive for the avian influenza H5N1 virus.
Israel Radio reported Israel and Jordan were coordinating efforts to combat the spread of the virus.
An outbreak of H5N1 in Israel prompted authorities to cull 1.2 million birds at 13 farms (5 affected farms).
