Kuwait confirmed 12 more cases of avian influenza H5N1 in chicken and turkeys (backyard poultry). The turkeys and the chicken came from small farm houses in Wafra, south of Kuwait City, and the northern district of Doha. According to OIE report, vaccination against HPAI is permitted in Kuwait.
